Shane Zubas brings a lifelong passion for baseball and youth development to his coaching. With a playing career that began in Little League and continued through travel ball and high school, Shane understands the game from both the player and coach perspective. He has experience coaching multiple sports at the middle school level, including baseball and volleyball, and is committed to fostering growth, teamwork, and character in student-athletes
Currently, Shane works at Friends Christian Middle School, where he supports students during lunch and after-school programs while also serving as a coach. His dedication to mentorship extends beyond the classroom—he volunteers weekly with the Junior High Ministry at Yorba Linda Friends Church, investing in the next generation both on and off the field.

For Cameron Crandall, coaching is about far more than wins and losses—it’s about shaping young athletes into confident, respectful, and resilient individuals. With a deep commitment to personal growth, Cameron prioritizes who his players become off the field just as much as what they achieve on it. His goal is to create a positive, challenging environment where athletes learn to push themselves, support one another, and face adversity with grit and character.
Cameron has been coaching for almost ten years, working with a wide range of sports and age groups. His coaching journey began at age 19 when he started leading his younger brothers’ football and baseball teams, sparking a lifelong passion for mentorship through athletics. He currently coaches football, basketball, and baseball at Friends Christian Middle School, where he continues to invest in student-athletes both on and off the field.
A former athlete himself, Cameron credits the influence of great coaches throughout his life as a driving force behind his dedication to the craft. His mission is to pay that impact forward—helping the next generation grow in skill, mindset, and integrity.
Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
